What Causes Swollen Gums,headache And Diarrhea While Being Diagnosed With Strep Throat?

My daughter was diagnosed with strep throat today. While she was sick I was in close contact with her. I have swollen and sore gums, a headache, stomach ache, diarrhea and am extremely tired. No sore throat. No fever. Could I also have the strep infection?

Read your query as you have have sore gums , headache and stomach ache this can be due to viral infection . For this I will suggest you to take medicine like Calpol and Acivir by consulting with local doctor and ointment like Acivir on gums for soreness . Maintain proper oral hygiene . If symptoms persists then consult oral surgeon for oral examination and get proper diagnosis .
