Hi,
Bilateral retroauricular swelling with pain on palpation could be due to infection or mumps. In my opinion, you should give brufen 200 mg tablet three times a day for 2 days and start antibiotic amoxyclav 375 mg three times a day for 3 days and give adequate liquid diet. However, since this is a prescription medicine, i advice you to meet the local doctor to confirm the diagnosis. I hope this has helped you. Take care.
