What Causes Swelling On Roof Of Mouth Along With Sinus Headaches?

I have a swollen roof of my mouth back at the top of my throat. Had a sinus headache since 2 days ago. Also had a tooth worked on yesterday with nova cain. Also I am allergic to fruit and usually I have canned mandarins had extra yesterday. Usually I do not have a reaction too. I am also allergic to peanuts and I ate some crackers last night that might have been processed near peanuts. I'm checking the box. Ok...let's see the answer to this one. Hahahaha. I noticed my nose is starting to drain when I woke up. But I took a Benadryl. The feeling is like a slight closing of throat when swallowing. I did have a feeling like that once when I ate cherries.

Thanks for the query..

As per your complain the symptoms of swollen back of roof of mouth along with closing up of throat seems to be due to allergic reaction to any of the foods that you have taken and you are allergic to it..
Other cause can be infection in throat secondary to post nasal drip caused by sinusitis..
You should continue taking Benadryl.
Do warm saline gargles.
Take Ibuprofen for headache..
Avoid hot an spicy foods..
Avoid smoking recreational drug like Marijuana..
In case of no improvement consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in diagnosis..
