What Causes Severe Sinus Headaches?

I have severe sinus headaches in reaction to wet warm weather, both inside and out of doors. I have been tested and treated for pollen and mold allergies. Could these headaches be another manifestation of these allergies, or could there a different cause?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain sinus headaches can occur secondary to allergic reaction while it can also be due to inflammation of the sinus lining as well as infection in sinuses..

I would suggest you that in case if you are diagnosed with allergies you can start a course of anti allergics like Benadryl or levocetrizine, take painkillers like Ibuprofen, do steam inhalations, decongestant nasal sprays containing Xylometazoline..

You can also consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation along with investigations like PNS View or MRI of sinuses can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..

Hope this information helps.

Thanks and regards.
