General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi, It could be Deep vein thrombosis or a knee joint effusion(Collection of fluid in the knee joint).
Either way you should see your Doctor who can examine you and order necessary investigations like an Ultrasound or Doppler scan. There is no need to worry and it can be treated. Do let us know if we can help you with other queries that you might have.
Take care,
Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
