What Causes Swelling Legs And Feet During Pregnancy?

I am 37 weeks pregnant. Yesterday I noticed a tremendous amount of swelling in my legs, ankle, and feet. I have not had high blood pressure thus far at any appts. This morning I seem to be having trouble catching my breath, (not sure if it is all related to the swelling). My question is how much swelling is "normal". I can leave finger indentions on my legs.

Hello dear,I.understand your concern. In my opinion the swelling of feet might be due to high BP,low HB or anaemia or physiological.Physiological swelling might subsides after 12 your of bed rest. But others wont.As you gave shortness of breath I suggest you to consider doing HB plto rule out anaemia.Dont worry it will subside once the cause is treated. As there is no high BP it can't be the cause for swelling.Take high protein diet daily as anaemia with low proteins can cause swelling of feet.
