What Causes Swelling In Vaginal Lips During Pregnancy?

I am 33.2 weeks pregnant. My vaginal lips (upper part) are swollen and red. It hurts to walk. I wear panty liners to keep my underwear dry from urine leakage. I have been using them for 4 months now with no problem. I change then very often more now when the vaginal swelling and pain began..

Such vaginal swelling is not observed usually during pregnancy. It seems there is some sort of irritation to your vaginal lips.
1. It could be the urine if you leak regularly
2. It could be some infection in vagina - mostly fungal (candidiasis) or trichomonal
3. Could be physical like your panty liners
First get the pathological conditions ruled out from the gynaecologist. If they are present, get them treated. Also use the soft non-irritant underclothes and party-liners.
