What Causes Swelling In The Legs And Abdominal Lymph Nodes After Treatment For Breast Cancer?

I have had breast cancer, have gone through mastectomy, chemo therapy, including 10 months of Herception infusions, and radiation.

My blood work shows that "I have come through this very well." I am sick, have whole-body blood flushes, swelling in my abdomenal lymph nodes, swelling throughout my body, especially in my legs, light nausea. When I have the flushes, it feels like my toes are going to explode, feet, legs, arms get red. The doctor says the blood work shows no diabetes. He doesn't know what it is. Says he has not seen these symptoms before. Do you have any ideas?

welcome to Health care magic.
1.It more to wards neural pathology than the blood itself. Generally patients with the breast cancer do present with tromps formations, but normally seen in the lower limbs, but your symptoms are generalised.
2.To be a safe side i would ask you to get a through checkup done to find out the cause.
3.A CT abdomen pelvis and screening brain MRI will rule out the presence of any metastasis.
4.Abdominal and else where lymphadenopathy generally seen in the presence of infection / inflammation , malignancy and systemic causes.
5.So recommend do get a through examination get done.
Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
