What Causes Swelling Around Nipples?

I am 20 year old married girl and from few days I am feeling some swelling around both nipples(areola) and which goes off when I touched(rubbed) my nipple, I have tried it many times but swelling is there.there is no pain and discharge.please reply is it a sign of any serious problem. Please help

Sometimes it can be due to hormonal changes when you are about to have your periods and it will go away as your period will start. But if you feel any solid swelling by your hand and the problem persists, then i would advise you to consult a gynecologist and get yourself examined thoroughly.
