After being in a high-dust environment in mid-august, 2016 for one day (changed about 300 fluorescent tubes in my fitness centres) I have suffered some sort of eye "infection". The night after working overhead my right eye lid swelled and turned red. Since then I have seen two ophthalmologists and have run two different antibiotic drops/gels with no relief. Most recently my right ear also started giving my an achy pain. I am due to see a dermatologist in May but am not holding out hope as I do not believe it is ocular roseatia. The ophthalmologists have stated I have no actual eye "infection". I also must wake up in middle of night to put artificial tears in due to severe dry eye. Any help?? Is my ear pressure and pain related to the eye problem. I don't think hot packing my eyes and applying artificial tears is any remedy.
