In hospital with cellulitis. After several types of antibiotics in hospital. Podiatrist and wound doctor’s waited to give me anymore. Podiatrist final gives me a 10 day supply of Cephalexin. After X-ray report today taking 500mg Cephalexin. Previous report showed only swelling in the second toe from cut on and no obvious focal osteolysis or periostitis is seen. Loc NRS Moderate Regional soft tissue is also visualize vascula regional soft tissue is also visualize vascular calcificstions are noted. IMPRESSION Focal soft tissue promise you sing along the second toe mouth changes are currently appreciate it involving the distal phalanx of 2nd toe, suggesting acute osteomyelitis. Why is my toe getting worst?

It is a serious condition and require proper treatment to avoid unwanted complications.
Consult an orthopedician and get evaluated. You have to start on IV antibiotics.
