What Causes Sudden Onset Of Dizziness, Nausea And Light-headedness?

I melted some chocolate in a bowl to dip strawberries in. I used a plastic spoon to stir and the spoon became deformed. Obviously from the heat. I took one small bite (the size of a nickel) and decided not to eat it. A couple hours later I got up to get a drink and I became light headed, the room was spinning and I was nauseated. I could not stand or even hardly move without beginning very nauseated. It s been going on since yesterday night. Could it be because of the plastic spoon?

Hello,

It might be from the sugar levels as a result of chocolate you have eaten. No worries it will pass soon. Try not to take sugar for a while.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
