What Causes Sudden Nasal Bleeding And Headache?

Hi. I traveled and had nose bleeding bc of the airplane .. the next day I was picking into it there was smth I wanted to scratch my nose bled a day heavily. Now my head hurts I m worried it went to the brain .. should I take antibiotics ? If so any antibiotics will work? Thx

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Bleeding from nose and headache needs an immediate attention it might be due to the change in altitude but still if you were my patient I will definitely suggest you to have a NON CONTRAST CT SCAN OF BRAIN to rule out any bleeding in the brain which is the most important this at present. I dont think antibiotics will help you in this situation you are facing. If the bleeding is continuous I will suggest to take ethamsylate tablet and paracetamol for head ache.
