Hello,

The acting ingredient of a compound is salicylic acid. However, all medications have other ingredients apart from the acting ingredient, necessary for its conservation.

So other ingredients also include Acetone, industrial Methylated spirits 99%, Pyroxylin and castor oil.Since, there are several ingredients it can't be, determine what you are allergic from without allergy tests, testing for reactions to the administration of those ingredients.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
