What Causes Sudden Headache And Vomitings?

My wife is 40 yrs old and had severe headache with vomiting twice in the last two weeks. This is the first time she encountered this problem. Had brain CT Scan and the peport was normal. With some medication (Justin inj &Dimox & Lasix) the headache got reduced to some extent. What could be the reason for this sudden headache? Any suggestions for permanent cure?
