My sister has a problem. At 2-5 in the afternoon she stars feeling very cold and shivers a lot and after an hour or so she gets very high fever and the cold and sivering disappers. This happened once and we gave her a crocin and took her to a doctor who gave certain medicines and she was fine by night. On 2nd day she was fine. The 3rd day the same things happend as mentioned earlier and we took her to another doctor and he prescibed to do a blood and urine test. The reports came in and things were normal. There was no trace of malaria or any other abnormality. The doctor said that this is "Long term malaria". But my question is how come nothing was detected in the blood. To add more information, these things also happened to her about 6 months ago and was prescribed malaria treatement (which she did not complete/lefe in between as she was feeling fine) even though the blood report was normal at that time. Another info which i would like to give is that she had a severe tooth ache before the shivering-fever incidence started 6 months ago. And now too last week she again had a severe tooth ache before the shivering-fever incident which started this week... Please help...
