What Causes Stringy Discharge With Back And Stomach Pain During Pregnancy?

I am 33 weeks today i am having a stringy discharge with lower back and lower stomach pain cervix is thinning it s now at 1.5cm is this normal? Went to the doctor this morning and she keeps saying it s normal..i m 18 and this is my first baby - just a little worried...

hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion if stringy discharge is associated with pain abdomen and backache and cervical thinning then its better to rule out any vaginal infection.But your doctor has done physical examination so she might assess your condition more accurately.So dont worry.Drink adequate fluids upto 3 litres. Take adequate rest.It might not cause any problem.Observe the fetal movements.
