What Causes Streptococcus Salivarius Of The Eye After Cataract Surgery?

1 day after cataract surgery I developed streptococcus salivarius of eye. My capsule was ruptured, phaco machine broke, surgery time over 2 hours. Have elongated eye. No vision, only a little light perception. I am so lost & distraught over the loss of my eyesite. Do you know of other patients that this happened to? The odds are so minimal for this type of infection do you know of other patients, and if they concluded how it happened? This has changed me so much, very hard to accept.

after cataract surgery it can occur only by contamination complication have ocured.this can happen with any body culture and sensitivivity of discharge can be done and most effective antibiotic can be used. pupil is to be dilated and lens matter is to be emulsified and aspirated over-it iol is be given what about your other eye vision in operated eye only pl is present and what about pr. chances of recovery of vision can be predicted by eye doctor after examination if there was pan ophthalmitis so chances of recovery is less. this is an accident and be satis fied with proper vision of other eye.thisis best and safest surgery but should be done by expert.
