My 5 yr old daughter has been sick since Monday. We took her to the dr on Tuesday, they said it was viral, but the fact that she had a boil on her butt, the prescribed her augmentum. On Tuesday night about 2 hrs after her dose of meds, she was complaining that her stomach was in severe pain and she threw up and had diarrhea. On Wednesday morning, she ran a fever of 104.7 so we took her to the er. They did blood work and said it was viral again. Wednesday and Thursday night the same thing happened with the stomach. She has ran a fever since. 2 years ago, she had what they said was viral with the same symptoms and once all these symptoms cleared, her joints started to hurt her. We had taken her to a rheumatologist but since there was no flare up, they couldn't test for anything. She hasn't had any joint pain, but I am afraid that whatever was wrong 2 years ago is happening again. Does anyone know what this may be?
