Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, welcome to HCM.
Your child has blood in stools and is complaining of pain in abdomen for 2 weeks, this could be due to dysentery.
Dysentery usually occurs due to bacterial or amoebic infection, at this it's mostly bacterial.
In my opinion, you should give tablet oflox-ornidazole half tab three times a day for 3 days and give tablet albendazole once at night before sleep.
I hope this will help you.
Review after 2 days.
Take care.
