What Causes Stomach Pain/bloating And Headache After Having Medical Abortion?

hi my girlfriend had a medical abortion 2 and a half weeks ago and the bleeding has pretty much stopped but she is still feeling bloated, to the point where she cant work. She has sharp pains in her stomach and back, and is also getting constant headaches. We're quite worried and don't know if this is normal? if so how long should we expect it for? if not what kind of action should we take?

Medical abortion should be always done under the observation of gynecologist ass it cause complication like excessive bleeding, abdominal cramp and incomplete abortion. Stomach pain/bloating and headache are all side effects of abortion pill. But It is just for 5-7 days after taking pill. But abdominal cramps after 2.5 week is something abnormal. Please consult the gynecologist and get the USG scan done to rule out the incomplete abortion and infections. Take proper rest, tablet meftal spas, healthy diet with iron supplements, maintain pelvic hygiene. Infection should be treated by course of antibiotics.
