What Causes Stinging In Lower Legs After Taking Tetanus Shot For Bite?

i was bite on the front part of my calf (away from the bone) 7 days ago. I went to the doctor and got a tetanus shot. However I am finding that my lower leg stings. There is no swelling at the site and there is a scab which does not look infected. any thoughts

Hi...it can be because of the healing of the scab. Sometimes the wound retracts while healing and it can cause the stinging sensation. Do not worry. But a word of caution is that - keep a track of the animal which has bitten you (if possible) and see if it is alive after 10 days. if it dies withing 10 days, kindly approach your local health authorities.
