my 6.5 month old daughter woke up today with sticky green/yellowish discharge in her left eye. it seems to keep running and her eye appears to be pinkish in the inside corner. shes never had issues with crying the the past which ive read can be a sign of a blocked tear duct, im just wondering if there is possibly another issue. thanks!
due to block nasolacrimal only tear will runout. but you have informed it with discharge and pink coloration, appears to be bacterial infection. so you have to apply antibiotic drop like ofloxacin.3%eye drop once daily. apply neosporine eye oint ment at bedtime. clean the eye with sterile swab.
