What Causes Stabbing Abdominal Pain When Diagnosed With Appendicitis?

I have had lower left abdominal pain for two days. Feels similar to when I had appendicitis 12 years ago. Sharp stabbing pain. I m a diabetic and have gastroparesis, had a J-tube for 3 years, pain is adjacent to where insertion site was. Stumped as to probable causes of pain?

I really appreciate your concern, right now the abdomen pain could be due to colic and it may not be due to any surgical condition, unless it is being diagnosed something clinically, else it is the colicky pain and I would like to try Tab Dicyclomine for pain, if it fails to responds then better to get done the imaging studies hope this information helps.
