What Causes Spotting When On Cerezette Pop?

Hi I am having spotting on cerezette pop for first 3 weeks will it stop? Also because it is awful having spotting daily I have now decide to take double dose to see if it stops spotting is that a good idea? I am also on dual patch hrs as 48. My height is 5 ft 5 my weight is 10 stone thankyou

Cerezette is a Progesteron only contraceptive pill . It is known to cause irregular
bleeding /spotting / lac of menses .
* Though you have spotting for 3 weeks , it will settle on it's own. Doubling dose of pill is not the way to settle the problem. Take the pill as prescribed ,on same time every day ,regularly & continuously..At the most, you can take CVP Gynae 1 capsule three times a day till the bleeding stops.
* I don't think being on double patch hrs will make any difference in action of pill.
