What Causes Spotting Post Depo Shot?
Hi I ve been on the depo shot for years now and this last shot i got on sep 2 not due till November 18th ive been spotting and cramping for a little over a week now this has never happened the whole time I ve been using depo i was wondering what it could be i took 3 pregnancy test they said negitive please help

hi healthcare magic user, it is known side effect of depot injection provera that it will lead to in between bleeding know as break through bleeding. Nothing to worry about it. this is due hormonal effect of prolong progesterone which with lead to thinning of lining then shredding as spotting in between.
if you are worried about this spotting you can switch to other form of contraceptive like combined pills or IUCD.
