What Causes Spotting And Severe Abdominal Pain During 10 Weeks Pregnancy?

I just turned 10 weeks today according to my lmp. Last night and this morning I was spotting but it only should up when I wiped. My clinic was closed today due to a doctor that passed away so I was not able to call them today. Tonight I am having server abdominal pain the spotting has stopped but now I have this pain I don t know what to do. I am worried about my unborn child and I am not sure if the estimation of my due date are correct because I have not had an ultra sound. What should I do?

Dear madam,I understand your concern.in my opinion mostly this goes in favour of threatened abortion.because there was just spotting twice and then stopped.and pain abdomen is also there.my aim is not to make you tense but consult your gynae and get an ultrasound sooner to know the status of pregnancy.dont worry mostly threatened abortion cases proceed to term without any problem.but cause of it should be known like any thyroid abnormalities or progesterone insufficiency.so once the cause is treated it will become normal.you dont get stressed physically or mentally.take rest.
