Dear Madam,

I feel sorry for the incidence.

Any amount of bleeding is not a good sign during pregnancy. It denotes risk to the pregnancy. Moreover, if the bleeding or spotting is brown, it is likely that the baby is no more viable. Hence with these symptoms tests to confirm the viability of the baby are indicated.

If during the scan at 11 weeks, the foetus is not seen, instead only brown tissue is seen, it confirms that the baby is no more living, not only this but it is non-viable for quite a time.

I would now advise to not to waste time and get the pregnancy terminated ASAP. Such condition is known to cause serious complications like clotting disorders (DIC), infections, etc.

You should not loose heart for this one incidence. You have got potential to get a bonny baby in future. However, please do not delay the termination of this conception.
