OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Hormone imbalance can be found with infection and also with some medication and the stress associated with the condition. This is likely to be the cause of this spotting. This breakthrough bleed is mostly transient with an otherwise normal menstrual pattern. Brownish discoloration is suggestive of altered blood. Also, slight spotting sometimes amounting to bleeding is seen with ovulation. Cramping can also be experienced. Please see a specialist for further evaluation and management. Take care.
