Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Do you know her head size (head circumference)? Any ridges palpable over the skull? Usually anterior fontanel is closed by 1-1.5 years. If it is not palpable now, we have to look for any abnormalities like craniosynostosis (premature fusion of skull bones), microcephaly or thyroid abnormalities (high levels). Kindly take her to your pediatrician for evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
