What Causes Soft Spongy Mass Inside Vagina?

I have a large soft spongy mass right inside my vagina, I can see it with a mirror, and it doesn t hurt. I am 52 and I had a partial hysterectemy (sorry if spelled wrong) when I was 37. I was told 20 years ago, after my son was born, that my bladder had fallen. I hadn t done anything about that, and had no problem with it until about 3 years ago I had to start taking vesicare. I can t think of any other info to tell you, I,m just really concerned?!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Reading your symptoms and history there may be a cystocele or the fallen of the bladder against vaginal walls. This forms a small prominent part that doesn't hurt.

I would recommend you to do a visit to a gynaecologist to check the cystocele that is formed. Maybe you need reconstruction surgery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
