Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain soapy taste in mouth along with a feeling of having lump in throat seems to be due to Gastroesophageal reflux disease which in general terms is known as Acid reflux..
In this condition there is reflux of acid from stomach to throat and mouth and creates a foul taste in mouth as well as due to inflammation and swelling in the lining of food pipe due to injury by acid can lea to feeling of lump in throat..

Nothing to worry consult a Gastroenterologist and get evaluated and in case of acid reflux the physician can advise you to take Proton Pump Inhibitors like Pantoprazole , Rabeprazole or Omeprazole, antacids like Milk of magnesia .
Drink plenty of water and take small meals every 2 to 3 hours.
Avoid spicy,acidic and large,heavy meals.
Eat your dinner 2 hours before sleeping.
Take a short walk after meals.
If you are overweight try loosing weight.
While sleeping keep your head slightly raised as compared to feet and sleep in left lateral position if you wish to sleep laterally..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
