What Causes Small Boils On The Face Of 1 Month Old?

kind of very small boils or acne appearing my baby s face .. doctor said it could be due to the harmone transformation from mother to child. is this correct do i need to take any precautionary measure . he has not suggested any medication. seems to be developing throughout the face. pls reply urgently she is 30 days OLD

Dear parent, I understand your concerns but I agree with your doctor as newborns commonly develop acne and boils in response to leakage of maternal hormones to the baby's circulation. this requires no medication and this is self limited condition. this means it will go away on its own when the maternal hormones clear eventually from the baby's circulation.
