Good afternoon Dr. Rynne - thank you for you time today. I am a little concerned because over the past two days I am suffering slight headaches and several times through the day I become light headed. It is not just related to standing or elevating my position. thank you

Hello,

There are different conditions that cause the lightheadedness.

You should check your blood pressure because hypotension can cause it. If you are taking antihypertensive drugs. Also, you should check diabetes, fasting glucose levels and postprandial levels because postprandial hypoglycemia is a sign of prediabetes.
