What Causes Skipped Beats And Lightheadedness After Ablation?

15yr old son had svt/wpw and had abaltion done 6 months ago. now have skipped beats. pounding heart, tighting in chest and sharp pain, and fatigue, and lightheadedness from time to time. when he had the svt attacks heart rate would go up to 300 bpm or more.

welcome to Healthcare Magic,

As the boy has underwent ablation procedure, generally the SVT comes to control. so the light headedness now the boy experiencing is not due to SVT. But I suspect it may be due to any arrythmia .

I suggest you to consult your cardiologist again and get done ECG again which clears your doubt. if we are unable to find any problem in EKG , then your doctor will advice you Holter monitoring .
