What Causes Skin Infection Leading To Swollen Ankle And Feet?

I was diagnosed with a skin fungus last year by a dematologist, he did a skin test and gave me cream which cleared up the small rash on my arm and hands. he never did anything about the rash on both my legs that covers approximately 70%. I now am having swelling in my ankles and feet and it is beginning to be uncomfortable.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having cellulitis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Avoid standing for long periods of time and keep pillows below legs while sleeping.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain and swelling.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
