Hello,
Most often, the impact of the intercourse on the wound is the likely cause for the pain and also the spotting. The impact on the ovaries which were hitherto protected by the uterine body mostly also can cause such shooting pain and so is the impact on the cut nerve endings. Yet, if the pain does not resolve and the spotting does not subside, it is necessary to have a clinical evaluation by your consultant. Also, please make sure the intercourse is not violent but gentle so as not to cause harsh impact. Hope this helps.
