What Causes Shivering And Chills During Pregnancy?

Hi, I'm 22 weeks pregnant and last night a couple of hours after I went to bed, I woke with severe chills and shivering. It took about 30 mins to warm up (using hubby's body heat). I felt ok after and had some juice, felt the baby moving about. Today I'm feeling a little off - no real symptoms, just a little yuk. I am concerned about the shivering and what it may be symptomatic of? One niece just had german measles (3 weeks ago and I wasn't in contact in her), another had stomach flu and I was in contact with her. Any suggestions?

Hello dear,I understand your concern. It might be due to mild infection or mild fever.
As you have no other symptoms you need not worry. You can take tab .paracetamol if needed. If any other symptoms develop contact your gynaecologist for furthur management.Dont worry.Take adequate fluids.
