What Causes Sharp Right-sided Abdominal Pain And Nausea After A Colonoscopy?

Hi, I had a colonoscopy on Tuesday 9/19. The same night as I was sleeping I tried to stretch out my leg and had felt a sharp pain on the right side of my abdomen. I spoke to my GI on Wed 9/20 and he suggested I may have slept wrong. Today is now Thursday 9/21 I have yet to have a bowel movement, very little gas is being passed, not fever, slight nausea, and still pain. I finally took a pain killer today but pain is still present. I feel the pain the most when I walk, stretch, lift, laugh, or anything that will involve that muscle to expand/contract. Not sure if I should continue taking pain killers and should I put heating patch on area.

I have evaluated your query thoroughly .

* This is in relation with intestinal issue rather than a muscle stretch ,
strongly recommended to consult your gastrosurgeon rather than taking
empiric pain killers .

Hope this clears your query .
