What Causes Sharp Pulling Pain Beside C-section Scar?

Had twins via cesarean section x2 and a tubal. 3 TOTAL cesarean deliveries. After 1 1/2 months post operation still having sharp pulling pains in my left side of my surgical scar. No heat or infection is noticeable at the surface of the skin but my left side seems a little bit more droopy and heavy in fullness. Terribly worried about it and waiting for an appointment with my gynecologist. Just wanting to be prepared for the possibilities.

Hello,

It could be of great help if you could send a picture of the scar area with that pulling feeling. I think it could be due to growing hairs or any inflammation after removing local hair. I do not think it's infected but good you look to see your gynecologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
