What Causes Sharp Pain In The Abdomen And Back?

Hello. I have a sharp pain that gets worse after I eat or drink in both my stomach and back, debilitating nausea, tiredness and weakness, heartburn and indigestion that can t be controlled. Also I ve lost 10 pounds in a week. What could this be? Should I go to the ER? I have an appointment in 4 or 5 days but I feel very sick and exhausted.

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Your physical examination should done.
As along with digestive problem and stomach pain you are having loss of weight....
So yes consult doctor immediately....

For 4 to 5 days you might given antibiotic ...
Omeprazole also given....
These are for treating gastritis or ulcer if present....

But as weight loss also there endoscopy done to check for any growth present.
If present biopsy taken...
It is sent for histopathilogical examination..
It might also reveal tuberculosis if present....
According to cause treatment given...
