What Causes Sharp Pain And Burning Sensation Post Rhizotomy?
I had a rhysotomy3 and half weeks ago on my lower back,this is my 2nd rhysotomy in 12months. The first one worked really well. This time I have been in severe pain since.I have 3 spots that I can hardly touch.I cannot lie on my back at times and I constantly have sharp pain and burning sensation where the rhysotomy was performed.

In some cases, rhizotomy may result in adverse effects such as pain.
This should subside by time, and if the symptoms persist for more than a month, an evaluation with MRI is necessary.
Pain medication such as ibuprofen can be used also.
