What Causes Sharp Pain And Bleeding After A Laparoscopic Hysterectomy?

I am 4 1/2 weeks post laparoscopic hysterectomy. I am going in tomorrow for cauterization due to bleeding/spotting. I have been having sharp pains, sometimes bad enough that it completely takes my breath away. These sharp pains last about 30 seconds and then I am fine. These occur when I am active and when I am not, sitting, standing, laying, morning, night, etc. There is no common ground as to when they occur. Could this be associated with a small spot in the vaginal cuff that needs cauterization, or should I be worried that there is something else going on as well?
