What Causes Sharp Left Side Chest Pain, Coughing, Trouble Taking Deep Breath?
I am 19 and have occasional sharp left side chest pain. I think its my heart and it prevents me from taking a deep breath and coughing hurts as well. But this time it is lasting over 15 mins when usually it last 2 or so then its gone. I am wondering if i should go to the hospital...

Thank you for the query.
After looking out your problem and your age i dont think its a problem related to heart but as precautionary measure have your ECG done at you nearby doctor.
I think most probably its a muscular pain and you are over thinking on it.Take some simple pain killer tablet like ibuprofen 400 mg along with ranitidine 150 mg both 3times a day will be useful symptomatically.
