Hello. I am a 40 yr old male, 5'8", 190 lbs. In the last few weeks, I have a sharp pain in the center of my chest when I sneeze. I take 25mg/day Lisinopril for hypertension for the last 6 months. My bp is usually around 120-130/80-90. Anything thoughts?
First we want to rule out respiratory causes like bronchitis ....chest x ray and pulmonary function test will be useful for it....
If it is present antihistaminic drug and bronchodilator needed.... If needed antibiotic need to be taken like levofloxacin...
If no bronchitis and chest x ray with PFT if normal then pain while sneezing could be by simple musculoskeletal pain... Rest needed for it.... Avoid strenous activity.....
Take care.
