What Causes Severe Shortness Of Breath And Chest Pain?
I m suffering from short breath from 2 month.some times it clears for 2 or 3days .doctor prescribe me for esiflo250 2 times day.i m using it from 1 month.some times appear chest pain in upper abdome side mild. I do smoke from long yrs but now i controlled my self.i have asthema problem from child hood.but it not happenen from last 3 years. I m 38 yrs male wt 71 kg.

Here you are having positive asthma history so there might be allergic asthma attack leading breathlessness
Your work up should be done as follow...
-Auscultation
-Blood pressure measurement
-EKG
-Spirometry
-x ray if needed
From above work up Your cause will be cleared and treated accordingly....
For asthma if peak flow less than bronchodilator like formetrol and budesonide combination inhaler prescribed
If cardiac cause present than treated accordingly like by diuretic
If no any cause found than stress history taken that can lead such problem by panic attack
