What Causes Severe Pain In Vagina With Frequent Urination?

Dear Dr. Day before yesterday by 4.00 in the early morning I experienced a severe pain inside my vagina and experienced severe pain while urinating. yesterday there was frequent urination with less urine. by evening I was unable to walk because of the severe pain and tingling feeling. I took Citralka one spoon in one glass water twice a day and Tablet Norflox-TZ 400 twice a day. now I feel better. Is there any risk in continuing these medicines without prescription of a doctor and a urine check up. please advise.
