Hi, I'm 48 and having back problems. My pain started in the lower back and now has worked it's way up to the middle. It hurts and when walking it's like a sharp stabbing pain that takes my breath away. It also hurts if you touch it or when I lay or sit against anything. Very hard to get comfortable. Also, my monthly cycle has not been right in about 4 months. Could this pain be something associated with that?
Hi, It seems that this might be due to pre menopausal period where some hormonal imbalance takes place. At this age there might be having osteoporosis or osteomalcia due to lack of estrogen level. Consult Gynaec and get examined. Take calcium and vitamin A and D supplements. go for regular physical exercise like slow walking and swimming. Ok and take care.
