What Causes Severe Pain In Hands Along With Stiffness In Fingers?
My 80 year old mom broke her upper arm in january When she slipped on snow on some grass. She didn t injure her hand in the fall. However, she now says her hand is extremely painful and her fingers will not move. She cannot make a fist. Her fingers will not bend at all at the joints near the tips. What might be wrong, is this a result of not using her hand since january?

Is she using any type of medications at this period of time? Any color changing in her arm or finger. Any visible swelling in her arms of fingers?
