What Causes Severe Pain In The Shoulders, Neck, Arms And Hips?
My husband is a 57 yr old and he has severe pain in his shoulders,neck,elbows,arms and hands and hips. His hands go numb with tingling and a lot of stiffness. Wakes him up from sleep,unable to lay on either side. He has severe stiffness in the body and severe pain in moving.

Your husband's symptoms suggest an inflammatory artritis. He must be evaluated with complete blood count, CRP, sedimentation, anti-CCP, X-rays and physical examination. An appointment with an rheumathologist must be made.
